I'm just interested in seeing what the biggest most power laser some people on this forum have built.

I was very impressed with the DIY host kit i bought from a member on here and the laser was very nice.

But I'm looking for my next challenge.

So whats the biggest most powerful laser your built? pics?

I really need to get some video of the big one in action.

Currently working on a buck rogers/steampunk inspired host to hold my next build.

Thinking about putting a 1W into it, working on the handle right now which has a locking system among other things for safety.

And yes, I use proper safety goggles for each wavelength :)

with the m140 diodes it's easy to produce a 2W+ handheld build.

My most powerful build was a >500mW 405nm. I think my 635nm build is a bit weaker. The most powerful I own is a >1000mW Spartan :D

what diodes are the 500mw red ones? all iv found is the lpc-826 which im planning on using in my current mini build

yeah i know, but what would you recommend for a good 250mw and a long life. dont want to LED my diode
