Hi there! I just want to know which is the wavelenght you think is pure red... you can chose between 632nm, 635nm, 650nm and 660nm.:thanks:

Because still are a few more colors! I just help on making this faster. And as I said in another post, after the visible colors will get end some of the LPF members will start making threads about something like: "What's the pure wavelenght of IR", or UV, I don't know...

Sorry but my oppinion is that this kind of pools will never get to the end.
I just wanted to know what do you think about those wavelenghts.

IT is none of those. Pure red is 685nm-690nm. Everything else looks red-orange in comparison. Also, I am tired of these threads as well.

I don't think so... maybe my seeing balls are broken or something... I still think 660nm or even 650nm doesn't have anything orange in it. 635nm does.

Everything is comparative. If you haven't seen 685-690, you would of course consider 660 devoid of orange. Having seen them side by side I can never view it the same way however.

I have seen 635nm, 650nm and 685nm. 635nm has a slight orange tint and 685nm looks very slightly crimson/blood red - i.e. not what I'd call pure red. I vote for 650nm.
Wish there were more options. And I do like these threads.
