DX shipped my order... just great... i already had a middle man order me four more pointers. oh well.

either way, i emailed DX support about the issue, never heard back, but the next day my order was shipped. I ordered these on the 18th, so the 26th would make that 8 days later. Normally my DX orders ship 2-3 days after i order.

maybe they just put that warning up to cover their asses or maybe your order just slipped thru...

I too got an email stating my order placed two weeks ago has been shipped. I didn't think they would refund all current backorders. I can see them not accepting new orders from now on from USA folks. Seems this might be the last batch shipped to the USA.

I also ordered from a popular chinese exporter a >5mW laser while the page said No to US buyers. They accepted the order and paypal funded it ;D It currently shows pending, but I sent an email asking if it was going to be refunded or shipped and they said it will be shipped (just waiting for supply). So I think the warnings may be eyewash??? I also ordered a strong laser from another exporter and it arrived listed as a flashlight from a flashlight company...pretty funny [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif].

Please stop posting this on an open public forum, send some PM's instead; you think they can't read this? Why advertise this? it will only cause paypal to take further action, and in the end hurt everyone....THINK.

like some1 else said they MIGHT find this but the fact is that they dont have the funds or manpower to search thru every forum on the net. if they did the us would be confiscating lasers left and right. dx may just be covering their asses as far as the watchful eyes can see. when those eyes turns away is a different story. how much of dx's revenue do you think comes from the us? its not a small drop in a bucket... ;) i may just be talking out my ass but thats yet to be seen.

Well, think about it. How many laser forums are there? You got LPF, LC, aaand...? Wouldn't be hard to find us if they wanted to (even though we're responsible with ours and should be the least of their worries). A google search for green lasers doesnt even show DX, they should crack down on the ones you can find easier :p
