What color of diodes are available in 5.6mm?

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed in another thread. I tried searching for the answer, but didn't find anything conclusive.

What are the different colors of diodes that come in the 5.6mm package? I know of 405nm (violet) and 650nm (red), are these the only ones?

I believe the only green diode is 5.6mm, but I don't think you'll find one anytime soon. They also make 808nm, (near IR) in 5.6mm, I am not sure of the others available.

Yep basically 405nm, 635nm, 660nm and IR wavelengths are the only commonly available 5.6mm diodes.

I've heard of these, though, yeah, you can't find them. Do you know if they are 532nm just like IR to 532nm DPSS lasers?

I think they are 530nm.

You also have 450, 473, 488 and 500nm, but they are super rare and expensive.

5.6mm is the most common format.

Available to anyone who has to ask: 405, 635, 650, 780, 808, etc.

But remember with diodes, any color in a given range can be produced, and then packaging is mostly trivial. In the (AlGaIn)N system, papers have been published with CW diodes from <380nm to 520nm (531nm pulsed). Go to the lattice matched AlInGaP/GaAs system and InP-based diodes, and you can make any wavelength from something probably between 600 and 630nm all the way up to >1550nm.

The only wavelength "space" currently inaccessible with laser diodes is from around 530nm to around 610nm. To get custom wavelengths though, the diodes have to be custom ordered and produced, so again: if you have to ask, they're likely not really available to you. What's already mass-produced is what's available, and I've listed the ones most commonly available above.

Thanks for the info, guys! My reason for asking is do to the fact that I recently toasted my PHR diode, and I was wondering what my replacement options were. I think I'll get another PHR soon anyway, I loved it while it lasted.
