I just want to know whats the best heatsink material ?

Do Brass make a good heatsink?

Better than copper and alluminum or the copper is really the best ?

Or diamond heatsink :eg: too expensive

I am confused ? :undecided:

Thanks in advance guy !

Look to the industry - virtually all heat sinks are aluminum. There's a reason for it. Aluminum is the best balance between performance, workability, and cost.

Silver is the best but most people dont want to afford silver if they can get something cheaper. Copper would be the next best but copper is harder to machine vs aluminum and is a little more expensive. Plus copper will oxidize very quickly. Aluminum would be the next best thermal conductor, its stronger than copper, easily machined and cheaper.

Aluminum would be the best for reliability, cost, strength, thermal transfer, and so on which is why people use it more than copper. IMO I would choose aluminum but copper is a good choice too.
