thats an argon laser tube with no power supply or regulator(driver)

could be used to build an argon laser.

ask the seller if he has any details about power output and power requirements

What do you mean what it is? It's obviously an NLC multiline argon laser tube YAG CO2 DIODE RUBY DPSS , duh ::)

:D

No but seriously , as the description states
Up for sale is a NLC (National Laser Company) sealed air cooled argon laser tube. Model number T6LIBLGRPI. Tube came out of a working laser head with about 800 Hrs showing on the meter. Optics look great and should be good to go. Cleaning out my stash and dont really mess with agrons any more so its got to go.

It's a little used tube, but I guess you'd have to provide the HV PSU and cooling system yourself. :-/ Don't know if you should trust him or not but come on! It's not much more expensive than a DX laser if you get it close to the current bid.

Its crap marketing, he put in as many generic laser keywords he could, in an attempt to attract and gain interest from laser enthusiasts who are not searching for argon specifically.

You type DPSS into ebay, eh? He got you :p

How can it be argon and DPSS?

A CO[sub]2[/sub] laser is used to heat up a TEC to power a NIR diode bar to pump a YAG rod that excites the ruby vapour mixed with the low pressure argon in the tube ionizing it and making it lase multiple lines. :D

Actually, I just bought 10 sum of Aixiz blanks for my 405's and 650's I'm gathering parts for and it was a "related item" at the bottom. I thought the discription was a joke. He is a fool though, right, because if any person in the right mind would buy that wouldn't they know a little about lasers first and avoid it unless they knew exactly what it is regardless of the description?

it's something I'm already bidding on... so keep yur mitts off!!!!

lol... joking... But I really am The high bidder. I bought an argon recently with a dead tube, so I'm going to use all the electronics to swap onto this tube. It would be a pretty hefty project if you had to do it all from scratch. I already have all the parts, I just need to connect them to a tube

It's a tube made by NLC (National Laser Co.), it has internal mirrors and all that stuff, NLC made a lot of replacement tubes for ALC60X's and NEC argon's. We'll see if I can get it to work. It was listed a week or so ago for $65 and no one bought it.

My plan is to box it up all nice, so I'll post some pics if I get it working.
