Hey everyone,
I have a few questions, none of which are particularly specific.
First off, I screwed up a laser build a while ago and the battery shorted through the case, and the tail cap ended up breaking, so I need a new C6 tailcap, preferably for a lot cheaper than a whole new C6. Would this work, or are there cheaper options available?
Tailcap Click Switch for UltraFire 501A 501B 501C Torch | eBay
I know about Survival Laser's tailcap switch for 3$, but 11$ shipping to Canada breaks the deal.

Next, I would really like a case for my lasers. Does anyone know of some nice, large cases that could fit 6 or more lasers, as well as batteries and chargers?

Lastly, I understand that a dummy load is used for modelling a diode, but why a fixed resistor?

Thanks in advance!

The issue is going to be finding someplace that can do free shipping. Which means china. Because the cheapest i can ship to canada is still gonna be over 10 dollars. Hell, I have a C6 which lacks a pill i could send you the whole thing, but shipping will screw you.

WBS if you want to get rid of the C6 then PM me. I have a spare heat sink and need a host for my 405nm build

The fixed resistor that is low resistance and high wattage is just so that there is a load and you're not just short circuiting your driver through the testing diodes.

14 dollars is cheap if you really like your laser. If the Survival Laser switch will work, I say just go with that. You won't care about spending the money once your laser is working again :)

As for cases, Pelican cases are very good. But, they cost more than 14 dollars.
