Two new lasers from Jetlasers.

Please bear with me, because I'm not very used to this forum still, but I'm going to try and put up a few pics of my new lasers.

First though, I've gotta say I am etremely happy with the way Jetlasers operates. Every time I've messaged them, they have gotten right back to me. The shipping time is excelent. I've had packages that were mailed to me from inside the U.S. take longer. I used DHL, and had no problems. Like always, I have a lot of fun watching the package in tracking.

I won't know until this post, if the picture links even made it up. If it works, it should be a pic of the pelican case I got for the lasers with the Pl-E Pro 532nm 800mw laser, the Equality 532nm 600mw laser, the 10x beam expander, and the Laserbee LPM all inside the case, then individual pics of the PL-e, the Equality, and also the two of them on the LPM. I only ran the meter for about 30 seconds for each of these tests, or possibly a min at the most, and I snapped a pic when it was getting close to the peak of the output.

I am very happy with the results of the tests. I would really like to get some 26650 batteries for the Pl-e so I'll have more millamp hours per battery!

The pics are not working...but I totally understand your excitement!I got a laserbee 2 today and tested my jetlaser PL-E 520nm 1watt laser.It peaks over 1200mw and seems to do better cold.Once it warms it runs 1175mw and just sits there.
Jetlasers are epic!!!!!

I am kind of freaking out...

i got a ple-pro 800mw as well. they usually peak around 1200mw... now i'm buying another one as part of haksaw GB... big discount...

the JL GB is still on-going the thread is NOT in the GB board-I placed it at the JL Social group 'JOG' see it there-- BUT unless you sub gthe group or at least the 'thread' you will not be getting any emails about new stuff-AFTER you join JOG find group tools and click 'subscription'--

It was a pleasure to experience purchasing from Jet Lasers. This unit (1.5W 462nm handheld laser) exceed my expectations in quality and design. I love it! Furthermore, Jet Lasers has provided the best customer support I have experienced in years. Even with an unusual circumstance that arose they went out of their way to resolve the issue.

Thanks ovni for getting that pic up for me!! I was getting so frustrated the other day with that!!

A couple days after I got the Pl-E Pro, it stopped working out of nowhere. I messaged gray, and sent him a video of what it did. He sent me a new one.
I have no clue what happened to the one that stopped working. I never ran it much over one min between cool downs. He told me that this was very unusual.

The first one I had, metered out at about 950mw after 30-50 seconds on the meter. This new one got up to 1163 within 15 or 20 seconds on the meter. I think this one is a little more typical mw for this laser from what I have seen on youtube videos of people testing theirs.

I am so excited to own this laser. I never dreamed I would own a laser this amazing. The beam expander is so fun to experiment around with. At first, I thought it was miss aligned, but after messing with it, I found out there's a way to adjust the beam expander so that the beam is passing exactly through the middle of the expander.

I have one question for you guys. I want to get the very best 26650 battery for the pl e pro. Something with the highest mah possible, but still with the correct discharge rate. I might post another thread about just the question under the general forum to get a little bit more answers from more people as well. Oh, Ovni, I gave you a plus one for your help. Wish I could do it more times than once. lol

Happy to help. I had a heck of a time, sometimes still do, figuring out how this forum posting works. And I consider myself fairly technical. And if I remember correctly, you also had some good beam shots on the site hosting your pictures. You should post them all. People here love beam shots. Or if you want some more help with posting pictures, just holler.

Thanks. There's a thread here that's getting a lot of attention right now about the ability to +rep folks given the rules changed a short while back due to some public confrontations. Such is life, even life on a forum.
