Oh there are literally endless documented stories of cops beating and killing people on websites like https://photographyisnotacrime.com/ copblock, etc,.

The key point, those are just the documented stories that we know about and that got at least some small amount of attention. Meanwhile there are 10x as many cases that are never documented, that no one ever even finds out about. That's the really scary part to me.

Nor are there many repercussions when things are caught on tape. Eric Garner case... only person that's spent any time in jail over it? The cameraman.

Kelly Thomas case. To date it's the most egregious case I can think of. Not one cop is in jail, and two are even collecting lifetime retirement packages from it.

The whole system is so far out of whack, I personally feel more afraid and anxious when I see a badge, then I do seeing a guy in hoodie, in a bad neighborhood. At least if you get mugged, it's not something that drags on for years, and puts a blot on your record.

Any time I have traveled with lasers I always take The batteries out and keep them far away as possible. I also unfocus the lens as much as possible to claim it as a led light.
As here in Oregon where green is now legal they can no longer search your car from smell. There is too many things that smell like green and some judge ruled it that way.

Yeah I think I'm gonna invest in some phosphor mods. Rather just show them it's a flashlight than spend 2 mins trying to explain them what it is before getting a gun pulled to my face and my face smashed against the pavement.

Here in Washington State, recreational use of Marijuana is now legal also. So, I guess the dog thing won't get them in your car here anymore either. I suppose they could say it is something else like a morphine derivative or cocaine, but I have never had them bring out dogs here or in Colorado where I was usually stopped on some pretext.
