Is there any stable mount for laser pointer

Greetings from Rochester, New York. I am in an academic lab assistant position and developing setup for simple experiment. (Hence as you would see, I am working with those huge, air-cushioned platform and lots of standard mounts from Thorlabs or Newport.) Recently we bought a laser pointer (pen-like), which has slightly larger size than the standard half-inch holders/mounts. But we want to find a way to safely and stably mount it so as to maintain a good alignment and work with reflector/collimator. Could somebody give me a hint or a link about this kind of laser point mount, if you have heard of any? (I think it would be greater if this mount can work with standard holders/mounts cause I have so many of them )

I remember someone selling something like this, something about a a clam or sea shell lol
it was in a BST section, but it was made to hold an aixiz module so it would hold a leadlight host great, and i believe it had holes to mount it to a table.

You can get mounts from Thor Labs that will hold a round object such as a laser pointer. The model KM100V is a great mount. We have several of them at work holding fiber collimators and they do a great job of aligning the beam.

Is there any reason you cant just use a lab laser designed to be bolted down to your optical board?

hey guys, thanks a lot for your suggestions. Good tripods from @lazorman and @KGB, but I think I will go to @Laser_Ben 's Thorlab part this time cause somebody in neighbored lab has done the same thing using the v-clamp.
