TEA Laser?

I was wandering around Instructibles and came across this guy's site http://jarrodkinsey.com/
He shows how to make a TEA laser, which i have never seen or heard of before. But it looks relatively easy.
He also uses some sort of dyes to change its color, pretty cool.
Anyone seen this before?

I remember there was a thread here about someone who made a TEA Laser. I forget where it went though...

hmm. it looks rather simple. and pretty cool too.
maybe ill get around to making one someday :]
