......I hope.... I just took a punt at a pair of smoke machines on ebay, listed as not working, the guy says they were part of a job lot. He just plugged them in and found they didn't switch on couldn't be bothered to take them apart to find the problem so put them up for grabs.

Lets hope I can at least make one working one out of them :)

If they get hot, it's probably the pump is gummed up. Smoke juice drys out if it's like the stuff I got.

Maybe that's what happened to Tallaxo's fogger on the group meet :D He decided to bypass something (I'm not sure what as we were all pissed on cider LMFAO!!!) which worked for the duration of the meeting. But now sadly it's fried RIP fogger :'( :'(

When I'm done with mine, I put the tube into a glass od distilled water to clear the system of the gummy glycols. It steams for a moment and is pretty well purged.

My foggers arrived today........ ;D ;D ;D.....2 fully working fog machines for less than the price of 1 :)

It comes under the well known engineering heading of RTFM, 2 minutes on google told me all I needed to know. I don't think the seller knew how to operate them...I would guess he switched on saw no light and assumed that they were defunct.... You need to let it warm up, then the light comes on, then press the button = shed full of fog and liquid sky ;)

LOL thats awesome

how much fog do they put out? one thing i learned was really simple (mostly everyone knows it) put a tube on the part where the fog comes out and lay crunched up dry ice throughout the tube, super-cooling the fog makes it last so much longer...

As there was only a residue of fog juice in the bottles I did not run them for more than a few seconds.......Loads of fog! :)

I will think about the dry ice :-/

lol yea its not the most fun thing to work with, but hey if theres any extra stick it in a 2 liter bottle and then put some water in, screw the cap on tight and run! lol
