The price is nice, and after getting all the parts in for benboosts today, the idea of soldering them one by one looks unpleasant.

That looks nice D: But I just use a toaster over and a heatgun. Works fine for me.

They seem to like the hot plate method.

Can you use an air gun all by itself? I'm afraid the hot air would move things. It seems to come out pretty fast when it is using one of the smaller nozzles.

I use a heat gun for the GhostDrives and it works pretty spiffy. Stuff does move around if you're not careful though, and those parts on the benboost are a lot smaller... I haven't had a chance to put any benboosts together yet, but I imagine that you'd have to be pretty careful with a heat gun.

I would highly discourage using a heatgun for these, especially because of the small 100k ohm resistor that sits near the lm, a hotplate might work well but keep in mind the inductors are just about the hardest things to get on right... and you'd still have to do those by hand.

yes I have one...be very careful setting the temperature profiles. this is what I did to my LGA 775 motherboard
