Still hard to check the wavelength between 405nm and 445nm

I bought 4 laser products from ,
But I think I'm a little cheated
The 405nm and 445nm laser emit the same violet light color
You can give a glimpse to the laser light below in the attached pictures
Can any body give me a good and convenient method to classify this two 405nm and 445nm wave-length laser light?

In low powers when i ran a 3w 445nm above threshold i noticed the beam looked the same as a 500mw 405 but much brighter. The dot was diffirent color but has anyone noticed this

445 is weird.

405 is violet nothing else, and 445 should be more on the blue side very easy to tell them apart if u have correct ones but u dont so :(

1 Of Your 405nm got a bigger dot, you can find something white or green and point the 405's on it and you can tell with one is 405nm the dot will change color or something
and in your situation both are 405nm :rolleyes:

Yeah, I think so. but the exact wavelength can only be detected by the special tool . Do you know the equipment tool?

what evidence? both those pens look like 405 nothing else.. and also 405 diodes are way cheaper then 445.

You could try sending them the pictures you posted here. It's obvious to those that have already replied in this thread so it may be obvious (enough) for them.

Not sure if you were able to get this resolved yet, but as others have said the colors should be visibly quite different. I would send the seller a copy of your picture showing the two identical dots along side the picture I have posted below:


This is a picture I took of my collection last year. On the far left is 405, and to the right of it is 445. This is what it should look like. This was taken with just a basic point and shoot camera, so not a case of an expensive camera being better able to distinguish the wavelengths.

Am I the only one getting a cool optic illusion when scrolling down through this pic with the sheet pattern. Oh yes send this wavelength comparison to the seller

Watch him send that pic as proof of what it's supposed to look like and they'll steal it and use it on their site. These people already sound shady as hell telling him to prove it when they doubtlessly know that they sent the wrong thing.

its the one on the right--
the spot of the 450 will NOT be small or round
the 405 will-=-
defocus and look again-

did you say the mW of these??

500mW of 405 is less bright than 300mW of 450-
I could be wrong-
