Steering Lightning With Lasers

well I don't count as anything for a record, but I saw a bolt of lightning hit an OE-254 in slow mo while I was frozen in mid air trying to jump away from the radio.(I felt it before it happened) and it was quite possibly the most awesome looking thing I have ever seen. I also have never had time dilation that extreme from any combat related flight or fight. I had about 3 near misses in my life but no real cigar yet. Working around radios and aircraft tended to turn me into a walking ESD bomb. I think it has an effect on why I had 3 near misses in 4 years.

We used to go driving around looking for lightning. We'd often go to the highest point in town and watch the show. One day a bolt came down and split a huge tree in half about 10 feet from where we were sitting.

That was the last time we went out looking for lightning bolts, LOL.
