Definitely do more research, there are much better lasers for less $$

Lazeerer.com has good value products and established members here will hook you up in the buy sell trade section. Althought building one yourself is pretty fun. Nothing like someone asking you where you bought it and then reply "well I built it"

But wait a few more weeks and research a lot more, if your looking for a strong blue laser the Arctic will be about your worst value.

I really like the host on the Article III. Would it be possible if anyone here on LPF could get that host and build from there?

People here have done it before, I'm not sure who to point you towards but hopefully someone who does will see your post, or you can make a want to buy thread in the buy sell section when your sure what you want.
