Funny/sad (?) thing is that's about half the batteries I own:whistle:

Probably have almost the same # of alkalines (but standard Duracell, not the ultras) in different sizes in another box for the rest of the family to use and ALOT of Nicads (eneloops) and various other packs for RC stuff and flashlights not to mention all the chargers for them.

When I get interested in something I commit:D or maybe should be committed:na:

Thanks for sharing the pics! Was that originally a microphone case?
Really like the angled arrangement. Keep messing around with my cases and always come back to arranging that way. Still haven't made any real decision yet on how to arrange 2 cases mostly because I am getting many more units in the Skylaser GB. One of them is a PL which does come with a case but I don't think I'm going to seperate it from the rest. Will likely use the Sky case for something else.
Did the convoluted foam come that way so you could naturally angle or is this how you trimmed it?
Also, does the top unit have GITD orings that you were able to fit in the grooves? It looks great that way:drool:

I'll take another pic of one of my cases with the 2 Blord builds that I added.

Left unit is a Blord build Steel 638nm >1.1W
Second from left is a Blord build Odessa 445nm 2.5W. Can't see it well but the label says STING in black with yellow background on the flat. Other flat on opposite side is labelled with the output.
Bottom corner are 2 pens that are actually the same. Both are O-Like "chrome" look (very shiny and I consider a bargain 650nm at 124mw and 137mw. The bottom one I painted with Krylon "cherry bomb" glitter spray and clear coat. Those O-Like pens are adjustable focus and run 12 bucks apiece. Feel very weighty in the hand for small units.

No, it's a pistol case made to hold 2 handguns :p

Yeah I like the angled arrangement too, I think it's a little catchier to the eye laid out this way and the foam also presses heavily on all the lasers keeping them well in place. Nothing ever rattles around inside or repositions itself when I'm carrying it upright, all the lasers stay snug & secure in place.

The foam came this way with the case too, I didn't change anything with it.

Thanks! Yes those GITD rings are on a WL krypton & I think it looks more 'saberlike'. I thank Fiddy for that idea, he shared pics somewhere before of one of his arctics with GITD rings :p

Nice man! That's a nice looking group of lasers you have there

Again, thanks for the comments but more importantly for posting some pics.

I need to get a case for my bigger lasers :p

Projectors and projector equipment are in the flight cases. The two laserglow lasers have their own case (PGL style 473nm & pen 593.5nm)

Most of my lasers are pocket ones, so they go in the small case in the front and anything bigger (including my other PGL 532nm) go off to the side.

Nice ARG! Thanks for sharing with us. It looks like you've got at least 5 cases there plus a need for another one:rolleyes::D
What makes a case a "flight" case? Specifically meant for air travel or are they more rugged (in case baggage mishandles them)?
Hard to tell but the bigger ones look quite deep.
I know alot of members don't seem to like the pocket/pen units but I find them to be inconspicuous and noone would likely ask questions thinking it was just a pen. I do however own one "nasty" pen at 1.2W that only "looks" harmless:shhh: In a way, it's probably my most impressive unit because it just looks like a gold plated pen:)

They are very rugged and can be carried any which way without the contents being damaged, I'm pretty sure I could drop them or toss them with the projectors inside and see no damage but I don't want to try that :) The foam is pretty thick inside and the projector is a perfect fit (with some room at the sides for cable)

I have one of the Harbor Freight cases. It works great for lasers, when I show people they think it was made for lasers heh.
