but i usually bring my laser to concerts and "raves" but i also bring my spirograph... that really blows peoples minds!

No way, dude. Just... Don't.
Take a 5mw with you if you can't stand to be without, but nothing that can damage eyes. It's a recipe for disaster at a school.
