Hello, I am just wondering what method of shipping you used to RMA a laser to Dragon. I live in the US and since they make you pay your own shipping, I am looking for something around $20.

Best bet would be USPS Global priority, with insurance - that way it's covered if it gets lost in the mail, too.

Okay, How much does that cost? And Dragon Lasers said not to insure it over 25 dollars or Chinese customs will not take it in. Thanks.

Just send it as a normal securely (signed for) package WL say put on the front $0 defective pen.If you insure it then alarm bells will ring hence the customs will take it. Remeber if it looks valuable then the customs inspect it. :)

Most likely under $20.00 - not sure, never sent USPS there before - try usps.gov, and see if you can get an estimate ?

this is all helpful. im gonna send mine back too. i just need to know a little more.

do i need to tell DL before i send it back? or do i just send it in a package with a note that says "defective"?

i do want a replacement however. what does RMA stand for?

if i send back my laser in a box, will they send a new one back after they receive mine? thanks for your patience guys, i know this is in like 3 threads already.


oh and timelord and senkat, your signatures are kindof copying snipers. you can keep i that way though. its up to sniper. (i helped him make it though.)

Contact DL before you sent your laser, they will give you an RMA number unique to your order follow their instuctions on how to post it and send it...

They say that becasue they will receive it but will have tax to pay and they're cheap. ;D

Remember! When you send packages to DL, YOU are responsible for loss and /or shipping damages. There are customs codes that specifically define the difference between pens and lasers and it is YOU who completes and signs the forms declaring what is in the package. If you are a minor, your parents may end up taking the rap if something goes awry with your submittals / shipping documents.

Also, like the others said, contact DL before sending anything to them. They respond to emails very quickly.

So what can happen if it gets taken by customs? :-? I dont want my parents to get in any trouble because of me... :'(. Are their any precautions I can take.

Don't panic mate it's very rare they get captured as they don't smell to the sniffer dogs nose. So before you touch your laser don't touch semtex ammonia or weed etc & and your laser will get there ok. ;D
