Shipping to DL

ya i would like to know why they seize these things, as well as how...i can just imagine it though.....

Well - with a $300.00 "gift pen" written on the customs forms - I suppose that might draw some attention to it....

While all the seiziers seem to be in the US i recall that my DL came with the description of a $25 Laser pen even the postman said at the door "here's your laser pen sir". the UK don't seem to bothered about lasers...

Well basically this is what happened. I got an empty package with a letter from US border and custom protection saying that they had taken the object. I then recieved a 4 page paper describing what they had taken and why ( Not pursuant with FDA regulations) and said that I could opt to have it taken to court, or just forfeit the property. Then I recieved another laser about a month later saying that they were going to for sure forfeit it in a couple days. So a lot of hassle but I am hoping that my return package makes it safely to China and I get a good laser back. :
Oh and by the way I am 15, but I am just so used to being 14 ;D I had my B-day in December and I still cant get it right :

So they sent you another laser? How come it didnt get taken away again? Anyway, thanks for the info. I live in hawaii, so the extra distance for shipping could make the chances of the laser getting taken away higher.
