Hi! Ive been looking on this site for quite a while and saw that a lot of people are very happy with their orders from sci-fi lasers. I has already emailed him a couple times with some questions but i was wondering if anyone who ordered something from them could tell me if they got a tracking number emailed to you when your laser shipped. I ordered mine on 7-28 and was told saturday it was done and would be shipped this morning. Cant wait to receive it i was just wondering if i would get an email saying its been shipped and be given a traching number, and didnt want to bother him with dumb emails as im sure hes busy. Any help is appreciated!

Oh dear! I think this question pops up a few times a week. Thejoker301/Eitan has been very busy recently with a lot of orders and group buys.
I see this is your first post! I recommend you post in the welcome section/fill out your profile with location/ and be patient.
What kind of safety glasses do you have?
Also make sure to read read read!
There is a search bar at the bottom of the page that works great!
Good luck and welcome!
edit: my first good laser was from Eitan! Great guy and great company, so you made a great choice going with him!

Yea thats why i dont mind waiting im sure hes busy. And probably HDE goggles unless you have a recommendation. I have some less powerful lasers but i do my research before i get something and definately intend to take precautions with something as powerful as a high powered laser. And i def will post there and update everything here soon. Thanks!

What wavelength(nm) are you getting/Have?
I am assuming a 445nm or a 532nm. That tends to be the new hobbyist choice.
You only have one set of eyes… So if you are willing to spend the money on a laser I recommend you spend the equal money on safety!!!
Here is a link for a decent set of goggle/glasses recommended for this application!

Eagle Pair® 190-540nm & 800-1700nm OD5 Laser Safety Goggles

This will also cover the IR that a lot of DPSS(532nm being one!) lasers put out!
