As long as we're on the subject of scams, when "DAY" ran his Group Buy not too long ago, the laser I was supposed to get didn't come with the key to turn it on. Luckily daguin helped me out with that, & sent me a spare he had. After I got the key, I put in a fully charged battery, turned on the laser & got NOTHING, not even a flicker. I've sent numerous PM's to him since about this, but he refuses to answer any of them. So you can put "DAY" in the "SCAM ARTIST" column. All I'm asking for is a refund or replacement, & I don't even get a flimsy excuse. That's pretty crappy if ya ask me.....rob :scowl:

I'm sad to hear that Rob, how long have you been trying to reach him? Is he in contact with anyone else?

Look I am not defending him here, just playing devils advocate...

I am not going to look around the forums to find out when the buy took place, I don't know how long ago you first tried to contact him BUT 25th May to now is still just in the range of a vacation, just a thought.

I chatted with Day multiple times on laserchat. He actually lost money running that GB due to the manufacturer failing to send all the items ordered, not to mention problems like yours. The whole thing was pretty messy and he decided to step out of the hobby for a while and doing airsoft stuff instead. I haven't seen him for months on laserchat though so I'm not sure of his immediate whereabouts or intentions regarding his GB and lasers in general.

We had a little argument over the fact he was selling Boblasers and not telling people. He told me he only had a problem with 2 items, and he corrected both instances. He didn't say anything about being shorted, or loosing money. Then he had a secret sale after that. So I'd say he screwed Rob because he was still getting units in well after he sold Rob his laser.

There was no "secret sale" he was still taking orders for more lasers for a bit, but recently he's vanished so I dunno what all has happened. I do know that he lost money on the first GB though.

This scamming stuff is getting old. I mentioned earlier that there should be rules for who can sell in the BST section.

He had already been selling long before his last group buys with no problems. Also, what "rules" do you have in mind? Obviously we have to give people chances to sell in the first place or else we'd never know... and there has been an abundance of new members who have offered great things to our "laser community" if you will :p

Either 150 posts and 60 days here, or approval by cold to sell.
