OK so basically the NOVA200 is $800. I have more than that, but I want to spend as little as possible.

I have a WL Fusion... if I sold that, how much should I get for it? (seriously... please no "aww you should pay them to take if from you" crap ::))

Otherwise, does anybody know what other laser may suit my needs? It must the same as or cheaper than the NOVA200. Hopefully it will be portable, but if it is f@#$ing amazing (like, really) I am perfectly fine with a labby in that case.

Thanks!

Check out Optotronics RPL series, they are a lot smaller than Nova's series, but they have a 5 minute on, 2 minute off duty cycle aas cvompared to Nova's continuous cycle. I can gaurantee you Nova's (same thing as Laserglow's Hercules) and Optotronics RPL series will be AMAZING.
About selling your WL fusion, if it is up to spec and in good condition, I bet you could get ~$300 for it.

Edit: Had wrong duty cycle for RPL units!

What's amazing to you, lots of raw power or visibility?

You could get a 500+mw green labby for ~$1k

or a 250+mw green portable ( rpl, herc nova etc )

or you could get a 500-1000mw IR portable, that's lots of raw power but no visibility.

or you could go with a 100WATT co2 setup and cut 2x4's in half and burn holes through plywood, clipboards and steel.

Nova are the same as laserglow's Aries, not the hercules.

Herc at the top, the Aries/Nova/Hades/Scorpious in the middle, RPL at the bottom.

I thought it came with a 12 month warranty... :p But yeah...I would go with the RPL too. The Herc is great and is more like a portable lab type laser.

K lol RPL... that was easy. Now can anybody help me out with how I can best sell my Fusion? eBay will be pretty hard...

My Fusion performs very well. It can light matches unaided... obviously pop balloons... what can I do to get the best indication of its power level? It is still in perfect condition and I still have all of the original packaging. I can also throw in a dragon case...

About the RPL (RPL200):
adjustablility?
how many cells?
chance of getting the exact performance listed (or better)?
any available discounts?

If I bought the Performance Certificate with it, do you think I would be sure to get a better laser than the others in the bunch?

Thanks!

Buying a performance graph will not make any difference. That is not how Jack operates. If you look at the power on his website for any of his lasers, you will receive at least that much average power and peak power.

It is not focusable. But the power output is adjustable, and is the default in the drop down menu when you order. If you choose not to have that feature, I believe it comes with the safety key. It also comes with the batteries and charger, but like Chief said you might want to get an extra pair of batteries.

Actually Pyro, the recommended duty cycle is 5 minutes on, 2 minutes off. However is the adjustable model is chosen and the optimum diode current level is selected, it will run much longer and still be at it's brightest output level.

Resal, you can get in touch with us at
