Rough Idea - Laser Mirror Glove!

Hello LPF! the other day an idea came to me while i was using my lasers. The idea is a glove with front surface mirrors attached to the finger tips, and whole face of your hand while you wear a wrist strap that has the laser beam exit under your wrist and be able to hit the mirrors on your hand giving you the power to steer the laser beam wherever you desire using movement in your fingers by positioning the laser beam with the mirrors at different angles.

Here is a quick diagram i made using my MS paint skills. (bare with me, it's not the greatest diagram but lol...)

For starters I would use a 25mW~ green laser module for this project as strong lasers and mirrors are never a good idea. Once I learn how to use this glove very well I will be able to upgrade to strong power if desired (using safety glasses of course.)

For the glove, I will order front surface mirrors and a regular cool looking glove cut the front surface mirrors in such shapes that fit around the finger and glue them to the glove. I will leave enough room between the mirrors so that i can still bend my fingers and hand comfortably.

Basically with this I hope to achieve a laser beam that comes out of my wrist like spiderman's web, except be able to control where the beam shoots using the mirrors on my fingers.

Tell me what you guys think about the idea!

This seems like a not very good idea.

The mirrors are rigid so will make it difficult to bend and move your fingers.
If you use glass mirrors, they might chip or break when the edges are pinched together. That would make a sharp, glassy mess.
And it seems like it would be difficult to direct the laser beam purposefully. It could easily end up going somewhere you don't want it. If your palm is facing your face, it would be too easy to get the beam in... well... your face.

But don't let me discourage you. Try it out and tell us about it.

Well generally you never want to have your wrist facing your face when the laser is on because if you curl your fingers up it could reflect into your eyes. I will try to sand this idea down and refine it, add things, etc.. right now i'm just brain storming. Will keep everyone update once I make movement with this project.

It doesn't seem practical, and you definitely will have very little control over the laser, but I still think it's an awesome idea...

If you plan to use this out int the world, rigid mirrors are going to be a pain, although, you could probably come up with some very small mirrors to attach to a glove.

A very reflective material, 2-3 5mW lasers with diffraction caps, and it would make for a nice little light show though. Definitely don't go over 5mW.

As a proof of concept, you can probably just use regular foil wrap, a greenie, and a couple of wristbands... I think I might give this a shot :p

Edit: Hmm... anyone know of a relatively durable, very shiny/reflective material?
