Is this purely based off of personal experience?
By your logic my Mitsubishi P73 is not stable at all since it suffered a premature death very early on.
Not purely off of experience no. When I got my Oclaro I had a conversation with another member on a different thread and we were going to compare how his Oclaro looked to mine once he got his up and running. Mine died before we got the chance
On that thread some of the others recommended the Mits 500 because it was a more stable diode. So far they have been right
But that is my experience with it so I guess I can't speak for everyone with the Mits. I'll find a link to the thread if I can and edit this post with the link.
