I've been looking around for a website that had good rep, and cheap lasers. But it seems that there are problems with all of them that I find. What website would you guys recommend?

Those don't really go together...

The following companies are reputable, in order from best service to worst;

Jetlasers, Laserglow, Optotronics, Lazerer, Skylasers (Laserbtb), Lasever, O-like, Rayfoss.

Good and Cheap? I guess cheap will depend on your budget. Are you looking for a power house, or simply something that looks cool and produces a nice beam?

This thread will provide some reviews.

Honestly though, buying from someone in the forum here will almost always give you the biggest bang for your buck...

What I was originally looking at was a 50mW green laser and a 250mW red laser from O-Like. But from what I hear, they don't have a good reputation. I'm looking to spend around $100. And I want something that can burn matches/fuse etc. If you have any recommendations of where to buy from, or know someone on here who is selling something, please let me know

Many of the companies shipping from china are hit or miss, but that is a risk we take.

I have not seen a lot of red or green custom builds on here. Mostly 405nm(violet) and 445nm (blue). All of these provide way more power then you are looking at 1W+) - many are priced under $150.

If there are no green or red, I guess I could settle for blue. If you know of any, let me know. I've been looking on here, but I keep finding old listings.

TY I.E. for the kind words- those other first few companies are all good or better and its nice to see JETLASERS listed along with them-- and you are very correct in the use of cheap along with high quality- you cant really expect both.

In all fairness to O-Like, Susie has been a forum member with a good heart for a long time- so She comes closest to both low price and pretty good quality plus service both before and after the sale.

You can make special requests directly to Susie for things like power output before shipping too.

But doing that has never been needed with the GBs that I have had the pleasure to do with Gray at JL. GB #8 and the special forum members-only group purchase of the last few Titanium lasers on the planet are on-going and ending soon.

ALWAYS do your own homework-- read all reviews/feedback etc , study past GBs before making your choice.

No company always sells 'perfect' laser 100% of the time- its how these are fixed in the long run that also must be considered.

I've contacted Susie before and she told me there is a 1 year warranty on their lasers. I'm not sure if I see bad things about O-like because its just the small amount of people that get defects and are much more likely to rant about it, or if they are actually bad haha. my other two choices are lazerer or buy one from a forum member.
