I was looking for some energizer e2 lithiums and found out there 3 dollors a battery so i figured i might just buy rechargables that wouldnt only last one time.. Are there any recharagble batteries that are like energizer e2 lithiums, i would like them to be protected dont want my laser exploding on me, that would be bad [smiley=cry.gif], Like a combo would be perfect, a charger and 2 or maybe 4 batteries would be great. So if they have them were can i get one?

It all depends on what you are going to use them for. Gazoo did a test with his X105 and found that eneloop recharable AAA batteries worked just as good as lithiums.

So they would give more power than regular alkalines, so it would burn better?

If they do were can i get them?

are you talking about AAA lithium rechargable?

I might be out of date on this one, but I think the only Lithium rechargeable AAAs are still 3.7V (4.15V peak).

I own 2 for a 2 years now, and they are still excellent for CNI greens (ONLY ONE BATTERY PER UNIT + AAA size drone with 1ohm resistor inside !!!). Very easy to build.
I used it for over a year on my old CNI Fusion, and now I use it on my WB purchased black phoenix that actually won't work right without it. If I put anything else in it (including two AAA energizer e2 lithiums) it will mode hop BADLY right away.

But, if you aren't comfortable adapting to 4V rechargeable AAA, you shouldn't do it. IT MIGHT KILL YOUR LASER, and no excuse for warranty !!!

if you need more info on those, I'll be glad to post.

Well i guess ill stick with alkalines or the engergizers, this is my first high powered laser other then my diy and since its green i dont want to mod it or something, hopefully the non rechargable lithiums last awhile.

If you plan on using a lot of them, you can get multiple packs on ebay that regularly sell for ~$1.50 per battery. I bought 40 of them for $60 a few months ago.

You may have been pointing this out (and sorry if you have, I only had a brief read through) but there's no such thing as rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Alkalines are as far as it goes.

3 things about rechargeables should be remembered if you want to get the best:-
-What type (Ni-MH or Ni-CD)
-The memory/capacity (mAh). AAA will go to about 1000/1200 mAh. Been a while since I've checked.
-The voltage (get it as high as you can for the laser you're using. Rechargeable Ni-MH gives out 1.2v)

A green laser normally takes up to 1.5v which is what a Li-Ion battery gives out, I think. A red lasre can only take up to 1.2v which is why you shouldn't use a Li-Ion battery with one. I use rechargeable Ni-MH batteries with 900 mAh and have 750 mAh too.

Re: rechargable batteries like energizer e2 lithiu

I was asking if they had rechargables. Li-ion give out 1.8v not good for red but good for green because they do give more power. Regular alkalines give 1.5v each. 900mah isint really that much ive got ones that are 2500mah you should buy some they last really long.

Re: rechargable batteries like energizer e2 lithiu

You sure they aren't AA that go to 2500 mAh?!

Rechargeable Ni-MH are 1.2v, regular non-rechargeable Ni-CD are 1.5v. I can't remember much about lithiums as I've never used them nor desire to. As sad as it is, I'm really anticipating the best battery ever...a nuclear cell battery! Was originally planned for 2008/09, probably delayed.

Re: rechargable batteries like energizer e2 lithiu

Eneloops are NOT rechargeable Lithiums....
They are NiMh ...!!!

Gazoo has proven that in the AAA format...eneloops perform just like Lithiums (Energizer E2)!!!
He has the graphs to prove it!!!

If you have an X-series Nova..it definately uses AAA!

Myself....I would rather Buy/Use/Pitch ...than have to use rechargeables!
THat is the Primary reason I use Energizer E2 Lithiums!!!

However..If I was to use Rechargeables in my Nova X series....Eneloops would be the ONLY CHOICE!

Hope that helps!!

So it gives more power then aaa's? and if it does its perfect.

Do you know a good place to buy them in the us, i only need 4 and i would like it to be a combo, like 4 batteries and a charger would be perfect.

Thanks

Re: rechargable batteries like energizer e2 lithiu

First Energizer E2 have always kicked any Alkaline disposeable's butt...

Even the majority of rechargeable NiMh rechargeables have had their Butt handed to them by Energizer E2...

I (personally) prefer to buy/use/pitch my batteries.....

The only AAA Rechargeable that duplicates the sheer power of the Energizer E2 is the Eneloop!

Gazoo knows a lot more than I do about them.....but If I remember...ht gets his from Batterybob.com

Here is the Kit that includes 2 AA..you will need to buy the AAA seperately!!!!!

http://www.batterybob.com/product.asp?intProdID=559041

Ask Gazoo about them...he LOVES them!!!

Nobody said they were rechargeable lithiums...which don't exist. Well, not as this cell type.
