Real 100nw pointers ?

hi everyone ,i hope you can help me , the thing is that i really want to get a laser pointer , and in my country chile, there is a lot of people selling this through this website called "mercado libre" that is almost the same as ebay, well after checking around here for the best option i decided for this one

,(because he had sold a lot of pointers and have a good rating) this guy said that is a 100nW pointer,and the price its around the 30 dollars ,very good price i thought , so i decided to look if i can find the same one on ebay so maybe i could buy it for lowest price ,but after looking, all i found its 5mW laserpointers, for almost the same prices, so im starting to believe that all this people here in my country selling laserpointers are actually selling 5mw pointers,and of course , cheating us... so what should i do , trust them ? ,how could i know that its actually a 100nw pointer ?, well thank a lot if someone can help me to choose well , and sorry for my english if am saying something wrong. chao:yh:

Straight to the point. For 15$ you are not getting a 100mw laser. Any seller claiming 100mw on those common pen lasers is pulling your leg. There are a FEW places that sell those lasers at over 100mw but your not going to pay 30$ and those company's are very reputable.

Now if you want to find out what power your laser is. You will need to purchase a laser power meter. There are a few sellers here who sell them but they are >100$. If you REALLY want a TRUE 100mw green laser. I suggest buying off a reputable site rather than a shady reseller because you WONT get a deal/steal.

Remember this, If it sounds too good to be true, usually it is.

I got ~130mw green laser for $25...:na:

But still, I dont recommend buying cheapy lasers..

What's an nw? Nanowatt?
