Re: DL 125 or WL 125?

i don't think theres a limit to how many "bucks" you can get.

the WL "evo" model is closer to the DL 125, the EVO is foused and made for burning like the CNI laser. the WL fusion should not be able to burn anything without a lens. (well it can, but that's just because it's 125mW. which is kind of a lot)

the WL might be more stable now (they claim that, but there is no support yet because it's new) the DL (CNI model) might have some issues, but once you get a good one, you get a good one. DL will be much cheaper for the same burning power, it's just a little higher chance of getting a dud. (which is not their fault, DL will replace any non-performing lasers)

Lucentoptics!

Actually, go with the DL 95mW...in the end you'll be satisfied you didn't waste an extra $200 on the WL.

It's funny that the first Evolution Series sent to somebody on the forums was a dud. ;D

Steve will stop accepting them after a while. He sent me a 95mW Nexus for photography and he never once accepted my pictures. I don't know why, he never said why...

Anyways, thanks for the $85 profit I made off that laser, Steve. ;)

I was sure i was going to buy th DL 125mW, but after posting some videos and getting wicked bucks, i might bale able to get the fusion for cheap!/ does anyone know if theres  a limit to how many bucks you can get from posting videos? Also, anyone know how these two lasers compare to each other?
Don't you think Steve may read this and question your video made with a laser from his favourite company :D

Re: DL 125 or WL 125?

Check out these videos of my dragon 125mw and compare that with the WL and then make your choice......

Video of burning 7 matches over a 2 minute period!... each of which is farthur in distance with the last being 2 foot away after almost 2 minutes or runtime was still able to burn at that distance!

Here is a link to popping a balloon at 10 feet in about 2 seconds.

Another match burning at 2 foot and then 3 inches..

Heres how fast it will pop a balloon at 6 inches!

5.94 seconds?... what in the world were you measuring with?

I guess I'll have to pop in some E2's I have laying around....

Did you check a balloon?

Ok.. Proctor.. the duo is still on.... you need to post videos now to prove your findings.
Tons of people have cameras.......

I'll be blunt......
I personally don't believe you....

I'm just being honest..... I just don't believe you.....

I have tested with my Dragon and I can only get two feet.. if your envee can do six, I will discount everything I've said about the dragon and only sing envee's praises......

This is your chance to prove envee the best!!!!

If you can "prove" your envee will even burn at 5 feet... let alone 6.. I'll eat crow for breakfast and I'll sing Envee's praises!.. I promise!...

And I'll never doubt you again....

but if you can't prove this after posting it, you will only appear as bogus and have to start under a new name to save face.... so whats it gonna be!...

Are you up for the challenge?

After making such a statement or performance on behalf of envee, this is your chance to gain respect in this community and I will back you from now on an be your best defender..... otherwise you will have your tail stuck between your legs.....and you will lose my respect.

Not that you need to please me or anything, but I"ve asked you for a challenge and you made a statement of fact based on your finding with your envee that it can burn a match at 6 feet.

I'm ready to back you up if you succeed and I'm ready to cast you down if you back down to this challenge.

I've never had much tolerance for flat out lying, but I have tremdous respect for those willing to challenge the edge and back it up with proof.

I want to see a video where you show the envee, and without the film stopping, then show it burning a match at 5 or 6 feet.. I'm giving you one whole foot of grace.. and you said you did it in 5.94 seconds.... I'm even giving you as many seconds as you want....

Are you up for the challenge to finish what you've started? Can you stand the pressure!

If you are telling the truth, this should be "fun" for you to do... I'm sure there are volunteers out there that live by you that can help you with the camera you don't have.

I"m behind you if your willing, but I'm against you if your not.........

Put up or shut up... lets rock and roll.......

Am I going to eat crow pie???? lets do it!!!

Re: DL 125 or WL 125?

Wow - I just lit a "painted" match with my DL95 at 2' but I'm not stady enough to go farther. I'll have to try a stable mount. Match in one hand and laser in the other ??? Gotta be ME !!!!!
My red lit one at 5' tonight but it took a couple trys to get the focus right.

an IR filtered red? and lighting a match at 6+ feet is quite easy with a focusable red laser.
