IBut Led Zeppelin sounds just as good on any mid-quality, high power set up.

Are you a Zepplin fan too? I have most of their albums...
:eek::eek::eek: Yeah right.
Damn you. Now I'll be looking out for mechanical Santas today at the flea market. :yabbmad: I cant get the idea out of my head.

Make a crawling robot with Tesla/Jacobs coil on it back, lasers for eyes and a "Gimee" tin strapped on.

Now get to it!

Wayne if you saw my audio collection you'd faint. I've been collecting live audio (bootlegs) for 20 years. I can honestly say I have more music (video and audio) than most record stores. I saw your set up on the "Gadgets" thread and I'm highly impressed. Been thinking of doing my own, so I can can have access on demand, but thats about half way down my list of things to do.

I will be starting my robot project very soon. When I get into it we can compare notes.

I have started copying a collection of live recording I made during the 80's when I was a touring sound engineer. Brings back good memories. I am surprised how well my mag tape collection has held up over the past 25 years, no oxide issues that I can determine. Some of the tapes sound awesome. I have even started sending them to the artists concerned, it's been a hoot speaking with them again, many are still touring and recording.

I only listen to live music. I've heard the studio cuts so many times I cant stomach it. I stopped collecting about 2 years ago. I have so much there is not enough time in my life to listen to it all. I used to hand out music all the time, but then I started seeing my stuff being sold on eBay, so I stopped.
