Hi Everyone, just wondering if someone can help me with a few questions I have about lazers, this seems to be a pretty good place to ask them:)
Can lazers be made to make a "popping or a bang" sound if pointed through a window into a room. This is happening to me, I am being stalked by a guy and I am assuming that he is using a lazer to do it, as I cant think of any other way that it could be happening and at a previous house I actually saw a beam coming into the room. Next question, can something be put across the window to stop the beam coming into the house if so what could I use. Third question and this might be a pretty stupid one but can lazers go through brick walls?. Thanks very much for any help. He seems to nearly be able to make the sounds happen anywhere in the room. Thanks again.

Welcome to the LPF forum

Lasers don't make sound and they can't shine thru solid walls.
Shining lasers to people is dangerous. You should call the authorities for an assault.
Did the laser ever hit your eyes ? The popping sound could be burning tissues in your eyes. :eek:

Man... :eek: Don't worry about the wall but you could cover the windows with cardboard or books... Or a white paper with curtains. :beer:

A simple curtain, or blinds will stop the laser beam.

If you know who is doing this... contact your local police department... what's being done is assault. At the very least your stalker will loose the laser, and face some serious fines.

How creepy and scary!

Wish I could give you some answers about what the noises might be, but I have no idea. Lasers don't make any noise whatsoever.

Let's hope that whoever's bothering you gets caught!
