Question about my LPM 1

Okay, I bought an Andover Holography LPM 1 from 2007rev a while ago, and I love it! Great meter, has really helped me out, but it has no setting to test either yellow line, or violet. Now 07rev told me a neat little trick of multiplying the result of 405nm tested as 473nm by 2.53 for a ball park estimate. I asked him if there was a similar method for yellow, he reccomended I try testing it at 660nm and 532nm and take the average, but told me to post on the forum incase doing that isnt a good idea, so here I am. My main concern is not to harm the meter. Now all I really need is a ball park estimate, I already know what my new yellow is outputting, but want to keep an eye on it for any power drops and so on...
So any input would be appriciated

You are not going to harm the meter...
Just make sure to use the ND filter if testing Lasers
higher than 100mW..

If all you want is a reference point to see if the Laser
is still outputting the same power.. just take a reading
on the 532 or 632 setting an note the readingand setting.
That will be your reference... no need to find a correction
factor unless you need to know actual mW output.
Then I would do what was suggested by 2007Rev.

Okay, Thanks lasersbee, that is a very good idea, record the output from 532nm and/or 633, write down the result, then just check it to see if I get a similar reading from the same wavelength setting in the future
I will deff use the ND filter incase it peaks over 100mW during testing.
