yes, the number indeed is less long. in fact i was more impressed after reading it, i didnt convert the uF number to useful numbers. 0.06F at that damn high voltage is really impressive. if you cant kill that bear with the pencil leads, let it touch the capacitorbank.. hehe
oh, goldcaps are in the farad area, since years.. at 2 volts per piece only!

well i have now mounted it all in a handheld with a bank of battaries ( 12 AAs) in sets of 2 (3v) linked to 2 camera cap chargers and a few more caps ( now 0.1f) at 400v with about 5 sets of rails made up (they like to turn into blue plasma) and im trying to get it to fire without just vapourising the graphite and turning it into a bright lilac plasma ( white for graphite and blue for aluminium) im thinking of making my own procectiles ( must be under 2mm wide) im thinking of a bunch of 0.7mm ( mechanical pencl) and wrapping them in the filament from incandecant lights ( tungsten) so the tungsten blows and the leads are left flying like a mini flechette gun at 300-800mph and get a normal one wrapped also in tungsten OR get some brushes for a small moter and make a bigger rail set i tink it will fire even 20grams at least 60-70 mph

guns are illigal in the uk homebrew "lorents force acturators" are not :p
