Pressing aixiz module with laser into 15/32 hole?

Greetings,

I have bought a laser module already wired up to an Aixiz module, but I want to press this into a aluminum heat sink block, which I have read would work well with a 15/32 drilled hole (~11.9mm). Can the module be pressed in with the laser still attached, assuming the front lens holder is screwed it?

Cheers,

Dean

the lens nuts will not pass through. You can press it diode end first from the front.

I mean diode end first from the front.

Or, you can set your module on the table with the diode facing up, and then put your aluminum block on top of it and press down until it slides in flush with the heat sink.

i will say this also depends on how good your vice was and bit.
i have had a few bits that are to tight and some to lose.
Bit the bullet and got myself a reamer.
When i do it on my mill it is very hard to press fit.
suggestion is to drill from the back to the front.
