Yep that seems a little pricy and Ti isn't a very good heatsink either, but on the other hand it will be light weight and scrach resistant.

Because something that small isn't light enough already.

I'd rather have one of those titanium sporks - better conversation piece if you ask me.

I've considered building a little titanium laser just because titanium's cool. Titanium is quite strong, but it's not that hard, so it actually isn't very scratch resistant. Its poor thermal conductivity would make it good for a spork, though, because it wouldn't burn your tongue as fast when eating something really hot.

As others have said, it is pretty pricey, add to that the poor thermal conductivity, only an option if the novelty of owning a titanium laser outweighs all negatives.

Guess if you are into titanium and all, it would make quite a cool host. :D
