Curious if some members might list the projects they are planning for the future or are in progress with now. I have several I'd like to complete for which I am still gather parts for, how about you? I wouldn't be surprised if some members don't want to share what they are working on until they are finished and working, but I will share most of mine here:
1. One watt or higher 532nm laser pointer with a machined in 20X or higher expander.
2. Ten+ watt output 808nm laser pointer with a 25X expander on it, maybe more (why? I have several ideas, PM me if really interested).
3. RGB laser rifle using at least 30 individual single mode diodes, 10 or more of each color.
4. Portable battery operated five watt output 532nm laser pointer using a surplus surgical laser.
5. Huge laser expander, I have six, ten, eleven, twelve and fourteen inch diameter PCX lenses to work with.
These are my ongoing projects, I have most of the parts for each of them now, will start putting one of them together soon, then the others.
I am particularly interested in extremely low divergence optics for lasers. One of the big problems I've faced is finding high enough power constant current regulators for some of these projects but I've recently found and purchased them. Now you know why my ID is Laser Project, I'm stuck in the project mode but slowly climbing my way up.
