You cannot convert normal laser into burning laser.
It's that simple.
For red burning lasers, diode from DVD burners must be extracted, installed in housing (popular is Aixiz), and installed in a host (a flashlight or something similar).
You cannot recycle cheap keychains red lasers. Sorry.

Guy is talking about red laser, not green, hence it cannot be pot-modded. Most reddies do not have anything but one resistor on their respective PCBs.
Also, note that the OP is very english-language challenged, he might not understand anything me and you are saying right now...

we don't actually know what laser he is talking about. Unless he pm'ed you something that he didn't post here.
and that is the biggest hurdle. he might be englilsh challenged but basic human courtesy is the issue... many nooobs come on and at least say what kind of laser they have.
