Sigurthr, lots of great info. The last two days I have been learning how much I don't know. You would think after graduating with a degree in physics that you would be one of the people with a better understanding, but I've found out that there are so many parts of science that tie into lazer experiments.

I still feel like i'm going to have to sift through so much garbage to find out exactly will fit my classroom. I thought that'd be a safe bet to purchase lasers online because they are somewhat expensive, but after reading really bad reviews about wicked lasers customer service I think its a safe bet to steer away from that mess.

It seems to me that many people on this forum stick to just a few suppliers like lazerer.com and other places that sell parts so you can rig it up yourself.

I remember seeing a video of someone who goes around to classrooms with a laser presentation and a projector. I cannot for the life of me remember there name. But hopefully some on here does. You might want to check the forums of photonlexicon as I believe that was where I read about Tue lasers for classroom information. Good lu keep us appraised.

You don't annoy me in the least if you are as you say... A High School
Physics teacher.

I've been here long enough to have seen several attempts by children
to pass themselves off as professors...

I agree, that was the first thing I thought of. His grammar is terrible for a person with such a high degree.

I call BS.

As much as I hate to shamelessly plug the company I work for, it sounds like you'd get an idea of what you need much faster by talking to someone on the phone. Give Laserglow a call, we've got people who do exactly that (answer all your questions on the phone, that is). We sell to schools and universities all the time.
