Yes, I did search the forum for answers but I am unable to get good ones.

I am going to buy a laser from O-like or similar sellers some time later. I am kinda worried about not receiving the laser because the Philippine Postal Corporation is notorious for mail loss/stealing and corruption.

If ever such situation arises and I have to file a Paypal dispute, will I be eligible for getting a refund now that paypal prohibits anything that is laser related? Most threads I've read are at 2 years old so I don't have an idea how it works today.

Well....
2 months ago O-like was having some trouble with their site PayPal function and is forced to charge with manual invoices... payment by sending a bill called "gift" ...

Since PayPal prohibits the sales of completed lasers beyond Class I ... its a rather risky investment.

If you ask me , I recommend buying somewhere else.
For example Survival Laser , CNI , Blord , Jet Laser ,etc.

O-like is.... nice but they do tend to underspec their lasers and sometimes they'll split their goods into multiple packages .... in a flimsy plastic bag ....

Its economical , but you pay for what you get.

Exactly^. Go with laserbtb

aka SkyLaser.

I can't speak for them but from what I've read so far the reviews have been mainly positive.
They are a bit lacking in the exotic wavelength department tho.

Although IIRC, there used to be a different laser company called SKYLasers that is unaffiliated with laserbtb... I could very well be totally wrong though :p

Yes I understand that but money has always been an issue for me.

What do they usually put on their invoice? A flashlight or something?

Gift
in other word , donkey poop when SHTF .
Susie of O-like is a decent girl but the way the business is done leaves the customers awfully naked , relying on nothing but the goodwill and trust .

Crap. I guess I have to buy through their eBay store instead. Will buyer protection still be applicable for items from O-like's eBay store?

 When I bought from o-like last time, it was via ebay (RGB-LAB) and things arrived here in <10 days. Please note I'm in BR and most things from china I've bought that day haven't arrived YET (>60 days).

I think the major problem (with lasers) is at USA, honestly... I buy from o-like sometimes and its one of my favourite companies...

THATS not valid for laser pointers, tho. I do mainly DIY.
