How did you do this? Did you invert one of the motors?

Yes the X scanner needed to be inverted as the words it projected with the demo were inverted. After I switched the jumpers to be inverted the words were legible. this time lapse picture was one of the demo animations.

It's nice to see you got that system working! Wait until you get into Spaghetti.. it'll make that DMX board look like crap.

way too cool dude very nice job on the scanners, your video is pretty cool also. you can bet I'll be buggin you later for some help with my setup, you realy should take more pics ! your stuff is too cool to keep from us !
have a fine day !!! Pyro... :eg:

All I've got currently is some crappy video of two of my scanners.. The video quality and music could use some improvement, but I'm proud of the projectors nonetheless.

The first video was taken by Yobresal

The second was filmed by my neighbor.

Pics of the projectors are below.

RGB only (and two blu-ray pointers belonging to Yobresal):

thanks! I know I need more pics and video, but I don't really have a good environment to produce good beam shots, and just taking pics of lasers without beam shots is boring (at least to me). I don't use foggers or incense in my workshop since my baby daughter lives right across the hall. My wife and I are picky about what is floating around in the air at home.

Once in awhile I bring home dry ice to make fog, but that's pretty rare and I haven't done it in some time.

Next time I do a show I'll try to remember to shoot some video, but my problem is that almost every time I do show I end up focusing so much on it that I don't even think of things like bringing a camera.

I x2 that on the baby situation! Gotta protect the baby!!

I Work at a Dry Ice Plant, hehe!! Its fun bringing my laser there! I'll have to bring camera and laser pointers next time I REMEMBER lol. Plus its cool just seeing how Dry Ice gets made anyway lol.

Wikipedia
Dry ice is easily manufactured.[13][14] Generally there are common steps taken in producing dry ice. Firstly, gases containing a high concentration of carbon dioxide are produced. Such gases can be a byproduct of some other process, such as producing ammonia from nitrogen and natural gas, or large-scale fermentation.[14] Secondly, carbon dioxide-rich gas is pressurized and refrigerated until it changes into its liquid form. Furthermore, the pressure is reduced. When this occurs some liquid carbon dioxide vaporizes, and this causes a rapid lowering of temperature of the remaining liquid carbon dioxide. As a result the extreme cold causes the liquid to solidify into a snow-like consistency. Finally, the snow-like solid carbon dioxide is compressed into either small pellets or larger blocks of dry ice.[15]
