Noob :), suggestions?

Ok hello everyone, i'm new to the laser community. I was recently intrigued when my friend had gotten a laser from wicked lasers and started lighting matches with it and i instantly fell in love . So browsing the forum and not knowing where to post this or what to ask exactly i wanted some suggestions....
I have a tight budget and probably could spend around 50 to 70$ on a laser (ether DIY kit [which i have some experience in soldering and electronics] or a complete laser) i really want ether a green or blue laser but i want a really visible beam, one that you could see in daylight if possible. Also i really would love the burning capabilities as i think its soo cool.
Eventually i want to make a laser on my own but dont have the knowledge or extra cash right now. Im completely open to any design or type or power output as long as it can do the above . Cant wait to hear what the community has in mind.....
