Just look through the specs on all of their lasers and tell me that they aren't a bad company. They might not be scammers but a laser seller that knows NOTHING about lasers is not a good seller. They list the same duty cycle on all of their lasers and the reviews/comments are clearly fake. Additionally they claim that their red and blue lasers use KTP crystals ::)

Is it just me or do you oftenly quote people's posts without adding anything? :-/

Btw don't forget to add laserpointerking.com and boblaser.com for screwy resellers ;)
Oh and starphaser.com as another WL subcompany or whatever....
Oftenly aint a word son. I quote them and do not add anything because I merely wish to echo the sentiment made by their post rather than adding my own, dig
Neighter is "aint" ;D But ok, I thought the forum or my browser was messing up.And you'll have to excuse "oftenly", english is not my native language , so I have a higher screw-up rate. ;D

Oh btw styropyro, you could add a quick company history to your post where you could write about who is affiliated with who, who owns who, where they're located, who manufactures their products.I think that would be somewhat helpful to the topic :-/
Neither is 'neighter'. Aint is a word, maybe not a proper one, but it's a [slang] word for 'is not'.

Very informative post, good job!

Hopefully my Wicked Laser Core is what it's cracked up to be.

Just purchased a 30mW True Green from DX too.

Your Core should be fine, most of the Cores have turned out good. The casing on the Core does look pretty nice  .

VERY nice guide.

there's nothing said about dealextreme.com

newbies (and some not so newbies) will eventually get to dealextreme....i myself bought my laser there
but had to do A LOT of research to decide that the true 30 was the best option.

A true 30 should easily be able to pop a balloon with a magnifying glass. Some can even do it without the magnifying glass. If you want a cheap green laser with a visible beam and some burning ability the True 30 will give you the most bang for your buck.

thanks alot, ill go ahead and order it. What do u recommend for batteries on it, i use duracell AAA rechargeables on my 5mw greenie and they dont last that long before the beam gets considerably dimmer. Should i order some batteries from DX while im at it?

You should order some good rechargeable batteries because the true 30 will drain cheap alkalines in no time. The best are these.

Use the 3v rechargeables and one of the chargers you can get off of DX, everybody says they are good.
