New to lasers.

I have finally found enough spare money to afford a laser, i am very interested in buying one that is visble to the eye, but does burn a decent amount. are there any laser kits that come with a focusing Cap that you screw on and different lens' like wicked lasers but i don't prefer them due to shipping and customs. Can anyone help me find a laser that has different lens' and is powerful thank !

Most of the 445nm lasers made by our
members will have what you're looking for.
You can check the sale and trade section of
the forums. There are lots of good lasers
there very near cost of materials. You can
go used or new from SciFiLasers, Blord,
ricktrent, and a few others. Ricktrent is
also 423ricktrent4 on eggBay. You can also
assemble your own if you have access to a
soldering iron and ESD wrist strap. DTR
sells diodes pressed into modules and ones
with drivers already attached. All you
need to do is provide a host with a
heatsink and do some heatsinking on the
driver. Search before asking a question
since it has probably been asked already.

Don't forget to pick up a good pair of
laser safety glasses if your laser does not
come with one. You will need them for
close up focused burning.

What i really am looking for is something that i can screw different caps on, as i said sorta like wicked lasers spyder and nano series have lens kit, i was looking for something sorta like that. thanks !

Try Sci-Fi-Lasers they don't have screw on focusing lenses but it is built in focusing.

laserbtb have star caps you screw on the laser if thats something u like, see my photo below how it looks.
