I have many (15+) small red lasers, 3 Green, and 1voilet, all 5mW and a 50mW green. I have purchased all of these online and have no experience with making them. I take appart electronics like CD and Video players and a few hard drives but have no soldering experience. I've convinced my step-father to teach me how after he found out about his sister's child smoking.
I would like something that is easy for a beginner but not a slap in the face. Does the forums have a kit I can get (and yes I've already gone threw all those sections and used search) that will be easy without a lot of soldering and diodes and stuff picked out? Also what is good to use for this kind of soldering. Is any type okay? My step-father is a boss when it comes to electrical stuff but not with lasers (or any technology past on/off switches) and I wish to know if I have everything I need. Looking for something cheep obviously and I've got a $100 limit and 300mW limit and nothing blue/violet.
