New 465nm 9mm diode?

Unfortunately, no. Nobody that I know of has bought one yet, but the divergence is apparently inferior to the 07E. The power, I think, is also worse.

beam divergence specs seems close to Nicha 9mm 445, which is not bad. Also closed can is good as well.
However less power than 07E, and bit more expensive. Maybe more robust than M462,but at 3x price!...mmmmmm

No, Jors, the divergence is worse than 07E. Can't recall but I think it was 2cm at 5m distance with 3-element lens.

We have been talking about this diode for months but as far as I know no one has bought one yet, are you talking about the spec sheet divergence STA or you know of someone tested it, I would put money on it being better divergence than the NUBMO7E maybe just by a little but better, my Guess, closed can is defiantly a bonus but for 3w off 465+ at $150 is still alittle steep for me, if it were $100 I would buy one now, you can get 2.3w of 470nn for $60 with awsome NDB7675 divergence!

Apparently somebody contacted the company, which responded with the divergence and lens. So I would not get my hopes up about this being a good diode. :undecided:

I remember. It was Techhood that responded and said it was 2 cm at 15 feet with a three element lens. Exostem, Newgazer and Techhood are all the same company.

What if this does 476nm or even 478nm though? instead of close to 473?

You'll have to buy one to find out. :D According to the data sheet, it was a minimum of 445nm to a maximum of 265nm, IIRC.

Existotem will sell them $130 a piece outside e bay with a PP only payment, but if no one is buying them then the price has to start going down soon I would think.
