I have no idiea what to do, I live in GA, USA and dont know who will ship here. Also Im leaning towards buying from rayfoss.com or o-like which is cheaper but i dont know if they are reliable companies. Also I dont even know if any laser I buy will even get through customs Ive had so many different opinions and stories about some getting through and others not! I just joined this forum today so sorry if im posting this in the wrong spot> Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Lasers that are confiscated by customs are around 5%. It is a very small chance especially if you order from a company like o-like.com or lazerer.com. I recommend Lazerer.com it is a very reliable company and Max (owner) will automatically label it as a gift and a flashlight so it gets through customs. O-like is also a good company.

Just use the regular shipping method by airmail. Dont buy the ems or DHL. Even though its rare I heard that customs checks them more. And DHL you cant ship batteries with it anyway. Just put in order notes when you order it from them to put the custom's declaration as a flashlight and hide the warning sticker with real Mw at the bottom of the box. That is what I do and no laser or anything I ordered from there has ever been opened or confiscated.

Sorry one last question and i will quit annoying you. Do you think i should get that power rock one from o-like or theres a rifle 445nm 1W Focusable burning laser from laserer.com they both seem really similar but laserers guarantees 950mw-1200mw but o-likes only guarantees 800mw but is about 30 dollars cheaper then lazerers. Please reply and help, sorry, Thank you!

The Rifle will definitely be up to spec and probably over spec by a 100mw's or so. Thats what I usually hear. Some people have gotten Rifles that where 300mw over spec. The o-like might up to spec but probably not over spec. The Rifle will also have a longer duty cycle. I reccomand using Lazerer, you will get a better product and it will be worth your extra $30. Another choice (I just bought this a couple days ago) is the Lazerer 1w cyber100. Cyber 445nm - 1W Focusable Blue Laser Water Proof

It will be up to spec and probably overspec. It is waterproof unlike the Rifle. There is also a 1.2w version here:

Cyber 445nm - 1.2W Focusable Blue Laser Pointer Water Proof

I ordered the cyber100 1w version with a power certificate, charger and battery. And you are not annoying me, I like answering questions. :)

Edit: I just wanted to say I reccomand the Rifle 1w first unless you want a waterproof laser or just a cheaper one. Beacuse with the cyber the duty cycle will be shorter.

and heres a video of the cyber and rifle:

Usually this is the normal range of Rifle (100-200mw overspec)

Since you probably won't have an LPM anytime soon, pay for the power certificate.

Also I don't think you've been told yet... you ABSOLUTELY need goggles with these lasers:whistle:

Check links in my signature for some good quality goggles.

If you order The rifle. Max knows what hes doing so he is gonna label it as a flashlight anyway. The minimum cost is going to be $182. On the page for it there is optional battery, charger, laser glasses, power certificate and lens. The $182 is the batteries, charger, and laser glasses that you WILL need for that kind of power. If you want to add $5 you can also get a power certificate that will tell you the exact power of your laser and other stuff.

Edit:Lol InfinitusEquitas beat me to it, and he is right. The glasses that come with the laser aren't that good. They can be used temporarily until you get your other glasses.

Temporarily untill you cant get some better goggles later maybe. But I wouldnt trust my eyes to them. There is two type of damage you can do with a blue laser, photochemical damage,Damage from the strength of the dot on a wall or any other surface (has something to do with being bright and the wavelength.) Usually this happens after a long period of time so you wont notice it for a long time, if you are exposed to it for a long time. And direct hits and reflections from the laser beam itself. The beginner ones will save you from the first one, but they might not save you from the second type of damage.

You are welcome don't forget to do a review when you receive your laser. Tell me when yours ships. Im curious how long it takes compared to mine. I ordered it around 2 days ago. Im really excited too. Hopefully we both get our lasers fast. Lazerer is know for the fastest shipping out of the Chinese laser companies. So that's another good thing.

I think 1Watt is too powerful for a first laser.
You absolutely need safety glasses with any high powered laser.
I would spend $30 to get good safety glasses now so you don't have opthalmologist bills later, or worse yet, blind yourself on accident.

I highly suggest you read a bit on laser safety.
