Hi ,
Took a pic of the sun setting today And all the Awesome natural WL's That were around us. Many of us live in different parts of the country and the world.So the WL's are unique to those regions from atmospheric conditions.
Do you have any awesome pics that you took of one of the best shows on earth?

That's a real nice photo Rich, it's not often you see those purples in sunsets. Meh, I deleted most of my sunset pics. But as winter rolls around the sunsets look nicer and nicer for some reason

Wow Gabe Thats a great pic Looks close to 589nm And 598nm . The yellows are so bright and vivid with hints orange. Good shot Buddy if you have more don't be shy. Yes winter is a great time for the sky..That is the perfect beam of light wow from all that way and it's still powerful

Somewhere in Florida on a trip a while back, just a cheap cell phone pics

More solar power

A perfect beam of light from a point source 93 million miles away.

Hi Red,
Now that's a cool pic you can see the WL's emanating from around the sun . Yellow to orange to red. The sun sets are different in other parts of the country in different seasons and temps. Amazing shot Pal Wish i was there nice and warm with a cold one LOL !! Thanks for sharing ..

Great thread Rich !

Caught this sun pillar a few years ago.
To see it in person was an awesome experience.
Running around trying to get the camera in time was another.

I love sun pillars! They're pretty frequent here in the winter, what with all the ice crystals in the air

Thanks Rich! Yeah, me too about your summer comment now that I live in Pennsylvania again, moved back here from Florida. Winters up here suck lol.

Hi,
your right about the winter but i lived here all my life in the north and I'm seasoned with all four seasons. PA and Jersey are cold at times i agree
