That Duty/Tax deciding line is different for different countries...
You will need to contact your Customs offices to know for sure.

I read that, but when i called the local post office they told me that it is at customs in Athens.

I am a bit confused, also the customs never pickup their phone so the only thing i can do is to wait.

UPDATE:

I called the local post office today and they told me it is in Thessaloniki and i will probalby have it at Tuesday :wave:

Forgot to add that post offices and transportations in Greece have been extremely slow lately. Lately, as of the last 2 months I ordered stuff from dealextreme on september and the arrived 2 days ago ( at my house ). It normally takes max 3 weeks for dicksextreme packages to show up, so it's most likely that post offices are lazy atm.

Something really.. really strange happened to me that made me pissed of.

I had ordered a 200mW blue from YourLasers.com (former DealExtreme) and you know what??!?! They had marked it as a $400 product and the content was "2000mW laser". I mean, what the fu**? Did they do that intentionally to hurt me? Normally they declare it as a led flashlight or whatever, but since they now declared it as a laser, and not any laser but a 2000mW while I bought a 200mW and also declared it as $400 instead of the original $28.. Wow, I'm so pissed off.

Customs contacted me and since I live in Sweden which has the fk** highest taxes in the world, they told me to pay $150 + administration fee of $15 + penalty fee of $50 + fine for importing a 2000mW laser of $150 + that they told me that they will destroy the package and its contents if I do pay, if I don't they'll just send it back. Guess what I picked?

Fu** YourLasers. I had earlier bought one and got it, it was declared as "laser" with a value of $25 and as a gift, but when I ordered one more.. They just ruined it.

Oh well, I did a chargeback explaining the situation and even though that they knew lasers are illegal, they withdrew the money to me. I love my bank.

That is the stupidest things a laser mfgr could do, how can they mark it 2000mW , are they chinese ?
Since you got your money back , i dont see why we should give a flying fu** to yourlaser.com we should abandon them like an unwanted child

LOL did they really expect you to pay all that just to "destroy" the laser? maybe hed just keep it anyways
