Today I built my first homemade laser! It's a green (532nm) DPSS, and it is outputting around 60-63mW. The host I used was just an old flashlight I snagged from an antique store for $.75. Lemme know whatcha think

It originally did, but for some reason the original switch wouldn't work. So I ended up gutting it, replacing the switch and making it run off of 2 AAs.

Haha this is just like my first flashlight build, I just picked up a random host, plopped a module in there, and happened to get it to work.

Nice! Those antique metal hosts were getting popular for a while. I made a few heat sinks for some.
