So I've been taking a long time to complete my LPM other lasers got in the way but I'm at the finish now just one more hole to make in the side for my Tec jack so it's detachable and close up the back with its metal plate, had the box sitting around for a while an old audio box of some sort and I thought it will do nicely for a LPM, something different from all the rest anyway. So I started with a small breadboard had bought all the components, new connecting them all up wasn't gonna be easy, looking at threads I noticed Jufran was selling pre made opamp boards a while back so I sent him a pm and I got lucky he had enough parts for a complete board so I bought that. He was also very helpfull whitch was nice of him. The Tec I used was a 1.7v 10mm-10mm eBay cheapo but it does the job takes about 25 seconds for a full reading so not to bad, The paint for the tech I chose was perfect I've used 3w and 5w lasers at it focused to burn for 30 seconds at a time and it doesn't even smoke, no fiddling around with focus isn't that just great. I went with 2 9v batteries and it's been calibrated with a plp520b laser that I had Jordan LPM for me at 150mw. Enjoy

That is nice!

I like the display color/contrast. I have meters just like that. With the blue background, how hard is it to read with laser goggles for blue wavelengths? My first LPM from Laserbee had a green 7-segment LED display and I couldn't even see it to measure my first high power 520nm laser :cryyy:
